Mechanical Assembly Specialist II

A.W. Chesterton Company is seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the assembly of mechanical seals and products.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble mechanical seals and products with precision and accuracy
- Perform repetitive tasks using simple hand tools and machines
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications
- Identify and isolate defective components for rework
- Package and label assembled products according to shop orders
- 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Certification for assembling level 2 seals and activities
- Ability to work under limited supervision and follow written/verbal instructions
- Manual dexterity to utilize small hand tools and perform repetitive assembly tasks
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed
The Mechanical Assembly Specialist II will work in a manufacturing shop floor environment, wearing required protective clothing and equipment. The role requires repetitive elbow movements, rotating wrist movements, grasping, and squeezing. The employee must be able to move, reach above the shoulders, and bend freely.
