Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead patient care initiatives, establishing care standards and ensuring optimal clinical practices for safe and effective patient outcomes.

  3. Manage staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions, while fostering leadership development among team members.
  4. Set departmental goals in alignment with the organization's mission, participating in strategic planning to enhance service delivery.
  5. Assess patient satisfaction and implement necessary improvements to enhance care quality.
  6. Develop and manage budgetary plans, ensuring effective administration of operational and capital budgets.
  7. Promote a culture of performance improvement, monitoring processes and reporting on outcomes.
  8. Create an annual staffing plan, evaluating resource needs and maintaining productivity standards.
  9. Monitor staff recruitment, retention, and recognition, implementing initiatives to address trends and challenges.
  10. Facilitate collaborative programs with other departments to support corporate objectives.
  11. Work with medical directors and interdisciplinary teams to establish effective care models.
  12. Represent management in grievance procedures as required.
  13. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required: Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in nursing.

Current RN License.

At least 4 years of recent experience in a related clinical area, with evidence of ongoing professional development.

Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing or Business.

Certifications: BLS (HCP) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, TNCC, and IV certification may be required based on the clinical area.

Working Conditions:

Physical demands include significant manual dexterity and the ability to exert up to 35 lbs. of force. Exposure to various environmental factors may occur.
