Job Summary

Harlows Casino is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food and beverage outlets, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of food and beverage staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent service delivery.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control food and beverage costs, ensuring profitability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu concepts and promotions.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a food and beverage management role, preferably in a casino or hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and cost control.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Food and Beverage Management certification or degree.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and work in a physically demanding environment.
