  • Cash Handling and Safety: Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed and maintain a safe working environment for employees and guests.
  • Cost Control: Control costs through selective purchasing and accurate inventories.
  • Scheduling and Quality Control: Create schedules and set and monitor quality and service standards for staff.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Affairs: Promote and practice compliance with fire, health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Monitor and order supplies, liaise with suppliers and sales representatives, and confirm that procurement of supplies is on the best possible terms.
  • Bar Operations: Oversee the bar display to maximize functionality and attractiveness, set, monitor, and control budget for the beverage unit/bar, and plan and implement cost control measures.
  • Sales and Revenue Maximization: Plan and implement systems to maximize sales and revenue, organize promotional activities, and stay current with relevant legislation regarding service of alcohol, sale of tobacco, and licensing.
