Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and hold a valid Professional Engineer registration in California. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in land development or a total of ten (10) years of relevant work experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise engineering design teams, including daily task assignments, work reviews, and quality assurance.
  2. Manage project timelines and financial plans, ensuring adherence to budgets.
  3. Prepare contracts, fee proposals, and detailed scopes of work.
  4. Engage in client and public agency communications effectively.

Technical Expertise:

Your technical background should encompass:

  • Conducting preliminary engineering design studies, considering land use, zoning, site constraints, and regulatory factors.
  • Preparation and processing of subdivision maps and public improvement plans.
  • Development plans for both commercial and residential projects.
  • Reviewing hydrologic studies and drainage reports.

Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/Inroads CAD software is essential.

This position necessitates extensive experience and demonstrated engineering skills across all facets of land development projects, along with the ability to engage productively with clients and public agencies.
