Job Title: Safety Superintendent

J. Fletcher Creamer & Son, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Safety Superintendent to lead our safety initiatives and ensure a safe working environment for our employees and customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety programs, conducting safety audits, and providing training to employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company standards.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training to employees on safety procedures, equipment operation, and hazard recognition.
  • Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to ensure safety protocols are followed on all projects.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in safety management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • OSHA 30 certification and OSHA 510-OSHA Standards for the Construction Industry certification.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and company standards.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
