Position Overview

The Safety Officer is tasked with executing licensed security responsibilities to guarantee the protection and safety of the designated client site, its visitors, guests, residents, and their belongings. By demonstrating vigilance and professionalism in adhering to company protocols, the Safety Officer is adept at recognizing potential risks within assigned areas and is prompt in reporting incidents to the Site Supervisor/Manager on duty.

The Safety Officer collaborates with supervisory personnel and operational teams to promote best practices that comply with federal and state regulations, and is dedicated to upholding the respect and integrity of our mission to deliver an outstanding client experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate company vehicle for external patrols.
  • Maintain a secure work environment while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Inform supervisors and on-site personnel of any irregularities, suspicious activities, security breaches, and safety concerns.
  • Complete standardized incident reports promptly and accurately.
  • Take necessary measures to remove unauthorized individuals from the premises.
  • Embody and actively promote company values while serving as a visible deterrent on-site.
  • Fulfill various job-related tasks as required.
  • Prepare and submit daily surveillance activity reports and document significant occurrences.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Valid Driver's License (for use of company vehicle during shifts)
  • Experience in Retail
  • Preferred: Proven background in security
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
