Electrical Superintendent

Automationtechies is looking for a skilled and driven Electrical Superintendent to oversee job teams on industrial electrical assignments across the nation. This position demands exceptional leadership capabilities, a comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, and a strong dedication to safety and quality standards. You will be tasked with managing daily operations, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently, within scope, and meet the highest quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to various project locations as required.
  • Plan, coordinate, and direct the daily activities of job teams.
  • Recruit, train, and, when necessary, terminate employees in accordance with company policies.
  • Examine job plans, specifications, and contract details to ensure precision.
  • Participate in and contribute to coordination meetings.
  • Monitor and document project advancement, generating RFIs and other necessary communications.
  • Ensure adherence to National Electrical Codes and safety regulations.
  • Procure materials, manage tool inventory, and maintain job site cleanliness.
  • Track and approve employee work hours.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Significant experience in the industrial electrical sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams in varied work settings.
  • Familiarity with NEC, OSHA safety regulations, and L.O.T.O policies.
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Hands-on experience with the installation and troubleshooting of PLCs, AC/DC drives, and motor control systems.
  • Capability to work in diverse weather conditions and at heights.

Note: The annual base salary range for this position is provided as a guideline. The final salary offer will be based on factors such as work experience, education/training, key skills, and other considerations.
