Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team at the State of Oregon. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, identifying technology solutions, and developing implementation plans to support our business program areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develop and implement technology solutions to support business processes, including software development, data analysis, and system integration.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement project plans, including project management, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to business stakeholders, including training and documentation.
Requirements
  • Five years of experience in information systems, including business process analysis, software development, and system integration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business processes and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in software development languages, data analysis tools, and system integration technologies.

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work including excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a small team environment and adapt to changing conditions with multiple competing priorities.
