Job Title: Behavioral Aide

Maxim Healthcare Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Aide to join our team. As a Behavioral Aide, you will work with children and/or adults with developmental delays and challenging behaviors, providing one-to-one-behavior intervention services and supporting daily program activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide behavior intervention services to individuals with behavioral challenges
  • Assist with daily program activities, including self-help, communication, social, cognitive, motor, and behavior skills
  • Support clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, oral hygiene, meal preparation, and ambulation
  • Implement and collect data on behaviors and goals outlined in the Behavior Support Plan
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Previous experience working in an educational or healthcare setting preferred
  • At least one year of experience working with children/adults with special needs who display challenging or aggressive behaviors
  • Current in-person CPR/First Aid certification for Adult & Children
  • Updated TB test
  • College coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related field preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
