Position Summary:

MNL is a comprehensive ecological restoration organization dedicated to the mission of Healing the Earth. Our expertise spans from small-scale native seeding projects to large-scale ecological restoration and bioengineering.


The MNL Seed division is responsible for producing, storing, and distributing high-quality native seeds that contribute to ecological health by creating habitats for pollinators and wildlife, as well as enhancing erosion control and water quality. We provide seeds as individual species, MNL-designed mixes, and custom blends tailored to our clients' needs, which include homeowners, contractors, and non-profit organizations. Our aim is to deliver superior seed products that ensure the highest success rates for each unique project. We are seeking a dedicated team member to support our mission while upholding exceptional standards of quality and efficiency. This is a full-time role with seasonal fluctuations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately weigh and blend various grass and wildflower seeds to fulfill orders, utilizing both manual and mechanical methods.
  • Assist in the packaging and dispatch of seed orders, ensuring appropriate packaging for each type of order.
  • Receive new products by aiding in unloading, labeling, and organizing inventory.
  • Ensure product integrity by adhering to processes that guarantee timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Maintain an organized fulfillment area and seed storage space to prevent contamination and product loss.
  • Verify optimal seed storage conditions, including monitoring temperature, humidity, and pest control measures.
  • Support the Order Fulfillment Team Lead in completing orders efficiently.
  • Promote a culture of safety throughout all processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned within the Products department, which may occasionally involve fieldwork and greenhouse tasks.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in warehouse operations and order fulfillment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift, with the capability to obtain forklift certification within three months of employment.
  • Proven ability to maintain organization while managing multiple tasks.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, reach, and move as necessary to complete various order fulfillment tasks.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Work primarily occurs in a seed warehouse environment with common exposure to dust.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends as needed.
