Position Overview:
The Staff Accountant will support the Senior Accountant in applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to financial documentation. This role involves preparing assigned reconciliations for the Senior Accountant's review.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the application of GAAP to ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare and review reconciliations for various accounts.
- Collaborate effectively across departments to guarantee timely and precise recording of journal entries for designated general ledger accounts.
- Engage in month-end closing procedures and possess a solid understanding of reconciliation processes and necessary adjustments.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience in private accounting.
- Proficient in interpreting and communicating financial data to ensure GAAP compliance.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
