Position Summary:

This role is integral to the financial operations, reporting directly to the Controller. The responsibilities encompass a range of financial functions including forecasting, budgeting, costing, inventory management, and reporting for multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on sales by customer and product, cost per kilogram, efficiency metrics, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Hyperion Reporting: Prepare and support documentation for MIS Hyperion reports that align with the balance sheet.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee accurate inventory statements, coordinate annual physical inventories, and ensure proper recording of cycle counts and adjustments.
  • Account Reconciliation: Document reconciliations between inventory sub-ledgers and general ledger balances as directed.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct preliminary analyses in SAP, investigate variances, and manage standard cost postings.
  • Daily KPI Reporting: Track and report on production metrics, sales, inventory levels, and material expirations.
  • Accrual Management: Manage monthly journal entries related to bonuses and other accruals.
  • Material Data Management: Participate in the review and costing of new part creations.
  • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as required to support team performance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude, analytical skills, and proficiency in SAP S4/Hana, Hyperion, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with cost accounting principles and inventory control methods.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
