Medical Office Assistant Job Description

We are a growing, fast-paced physician-led office seeking a full-time Medical Office Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patient records for office appointments and enter information into the electronic health record
  • Room patients and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing

Requirements:

  • At least one year of previous experience in a medical office preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and experience with EPIC are a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn
