We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at a hospital in Austin, Texas.
Job Summary:This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a possibility to extend. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced CVICU environment, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients with cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs, medication, and treatment plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
- Current Texas Nursing License
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- 2 years of recent relevant nursing experience in CVICU or ICU
