Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions in a high-acuity CVICU setting.
• Assess patients' cardiovascular status, monitor cardiac rhythms, and administer medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans for optimal patient outcomes.
• Perform advanced cardiac monitoring and interventions, including hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular health, treatment options, and post-discharge care strategies to promote recovery and prevent complications.
Requirements
• Current RN license
• BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
• 2 years of recent Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) nursing experience
• Strong communication and adaptability skills
