Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapy and Imaging Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Mark's Hospital. As a key member of our Medical Imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care during the peri-procedure stay, including assessment of safety, comfort, physiological, and psychological needs.
  • Work closely with Radiologists, technologist staff, ancillary departments, and physicians to plan and coordinate care.
  • Perform and demonstrate proficiency in providing quality patient care, including sterile technique and monitoring equipment.
  • Function as a patient advocate, providing direct patient care and meeting the physical and emotional needs of patients and families.
  • Formulate and coordinate patient's plan of care based on assessment.
Requirements
  • Current Utah RN license in good standing.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Certification in Radiological Nursing encouraged.
  • One (1) year of hospital clinical experience; Critical Care or ED background preferred.
  • Modest sedation administration nursing experience.
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
