Job Summary

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for two open rank faculty positions. We are seeking highly qualified candidates who can contribute to our academic excellence and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate classes in Materials Science and Engineering
  • Mentor and advise students in research projects
  • Establish and maintain an independent research program
  • Contribute to departmental and university service
  • Engage in scholarly activities and publish research papers
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent in Materials Science, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong commitment to teaching and research
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Postdoctoral research experience in Materials Science and Engineering
  • Research expertise in advanced micro- and nanoelectronics, CMOS extension, power devices, 3D integration, and materials characterization
  • Experience in teaching and mentoring students
