Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Vision: Formulate and implement a holistic strategy for the organization’s business systems, ensuring alignment with technological initiatives and overarching business goals.
  • System Deployment and Integration: Oversee the assessment, selection, and deployment of business systems, guaranteeing smooth integration with current infrastructure and applications.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify and implement opportunities to optimize business processes and workflows through technology, automation, and industry best practices.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Partner with stakeholders across various departments, including finance, operations, sales, marketing, and IT, to comprehend their needs and ensure that business systems effectively address their requirements.
  • Vendor Oversight: Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers, including contract negotiations, performance evaluations, and compliance with service level agreements.
  • Change Leadership: Facilitate organizational change by advocating for the adoption of new technologies and processes, providing user training and support, and nurturing a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Evaluation: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and other relevant metrics to assess the effectiveness of business systems and monitor progress toward strategic objectives, delivering regular insights to senior leadership.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with business systems, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans are established.
  • Team Leadership: Build and mentor a high-performing team of business systems professionals, offering guidance, coaching, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, computer science, or a related discipline; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Over 10 years of demonstrated experience in a senior leadership capacity overseeing business systems, enterprise applications, or IT operations.
  • Strong grasp of business processes, operations management, and project management methodologies.
  • Proven ability to devise and execute strategic plans, drive organizational change, and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Solid knowledge of enterprise software systems, including CRM (Salesforce), and other business applications such as Gong, Outreach, and ZoomInfo.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and trends in business systems, including cloud computing, data analytics, AI, and automation.
  • Experience in managing budgets, vendor relationships, and complex technology projects.
  • Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or Six Sigma are advantageous.
