Dialysis Technician

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Dialysis Patient Care Technician to join our team at Dialysis Clinic, Inc. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our mission to prioritize individualized care for patients with chronic kidney disease.
As a Dialysis Patient Care Technician, you will work closely with our clinical staff to provide safe and effective care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment. Your responsibilities will include obtaining and recording patient vital signs, setting up and breaking down dialysis equipment, and monitoring patients during treatment.
Responsibilities- Participate in infection control and risk management activities to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients
- Guide new patients through our comprehensive 120-day education plan to ensure they receive the best possible care
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment, and inform the charge nurse of any concerns
- Set up and break down dialysis equipment, and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Insert and remove patient access needles, and monitor patients during dialysis to ensure their safety and well-being
- Calculate patient weight loss to reach dry weight, and determine patient care priorities to ensure efficient and effective care
- Maintain professional working relationships with patients, families, and colleagues, and respect patient privacy and rights
- Perform laboratory work, and maintain and track inventory to ensure we have the necessary supplies to provide high-quality care
- Paid 12-week training program with a preceptor to ensure you have the skills and knowledge you need to succeed
- Competitive pay range of $16.00-$21.50 per hour, depending on experience
