We are currently seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to support our operations in various school districts.

Compensation and Benefits:


As a Senior Technician at First Student, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the children who rely on our services.

$35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications (NOT flat-rate)
$2,500 Sign-on Bonus (Conditions apply)
ASE incentive of $.25/hour for each relevant ASE certification obtained (we cover training materials and exams)

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, full-time shift from 5:00am to 2:00pm

About the Role:


As a Senior Technician at First Student, you will be responsible for performing maintenance to ensure our fleet of modern vehicles is safe for operation.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

Supervising technicians in the workshop.
Generating work orders and tracking progress until completion.
Maintaining advanced knowledge of all vehicle components to effectively diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs.
Monitoring shop performance and efficiency, taking necessary actions for improvement.

Requirements:

You might be a suitable candidate for our Senior Automotive Technician role if you:
- Are passionate about making a positive impact in your community
- Have 5+ years of experience with automotive, diesel, electric, or CNG vehicles
- Have prior experience in a lead technician, supervisory, or management role
- Possess a valid driver's license and are willing to obtain a CDL (training provided)
- Own a mechanic's tool set
- Are eager to grow and enhance your skills through ASE testing
