Data Infrastructure Specialist, Global Partnerships

Meta is seeking a highly skilled Data Infrastructure Specialist to join our Global Partnerships team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data infrastructure and analytics tools to support our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, insights, and engineering partners to understand and decompose business requirements into data models and technical solutions.
  • Directly contribute to the development of our data warehouse/data-mart through data management, data architecture, and data governance best practices and thought leadership.
  • Define and manage SLAs for data sets.
  • Design and develop complex data models to support multiple use cases across different products or domains.
  • Design and optimize pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems based across different business units (e.g., data quality, metadata management).
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in hands-on technical analytics role gathering and decomposing requirements into a technical solution for insights and analysis as a primary job function.
  • 3+ years experience following the data development lifecycle to develop scalable data infrastructure and analytics tools.
  • 3+ years experience in custom ETL/ELT design, implementation, and maintenance as a primary job function.
  • Experience with SQL for development (Oracle, Hive, MySQL, Spark, etc.).
  • Experience with building dimensional models/data modeling.
  • Experience leading projects with cross-functional stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously in a fast-paced ambiguous environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with data integrations and ingestion (e.g., SFTP, APIs, etc).
  • Experience with developing data pipelines using scripting, dbt, Airflow, or similar tools.
  • Experience managing and optimizing big data pipelines.
  • Experience using data visualization and business intelligence tools.
  • Experience with media, music, or entertainment industry.
