Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service: Guarantee customer satisfaction by understanding their vehicle needs and providing personalized solutions.
- Vehicle Demonstrations: Showcase new and used vehicles, including test drives, to ensure customers understand the vehicle's features and benefits.
- Vehicle Delivery: Ensure customers understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork, laying the foundation for customer loyalty.
- Attend Sales Meetings: Stay informed about new products, features, and accessories, and their benefits to customers.
- Personal Income Goals: Establish goals consistent with dealership standards and devise a strategy to meet them.
- Reporting and Analysis: Review and analyze actions to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively.
Qualifications:
- Factory Training: Complete all factory tests and become a certified salesperson.
- Knowledge of Laws: Understand federal, state, and local laws governing retail auto sales.
- Service Department Introduction: Introduce customers to service department personnel to emphasize the quality and efficiency of the dealership's service operations.
- Job Performance: Carry out sales, customer service, and job performance as indicated in the Sales Consultant Performance Checklist.
- Driving Requirements: Must be legally and technically able to safely operate company and customer-owned vehicles.
- Education and Skills: High school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and comprehend instructions, and excellent communication skills.

Work Schedule:
- Shift: 8-hour day shift.
- Weekends: As needed.
- Start and End Times: 2 late starts and 2 early outs.
Work Location: In-person at Hawk Chevrolet Cadillac of Joliet.
