Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aircraft Parts and Records Coordinator to join our team in Cleveland, Ohio. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for overseeing all parts activity and transactions, daily reconciliation of trip flight sheets, and parts inventory stock management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance and Lead Mechanic to order parts for AOG, next day, and common stock as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all orders and core returns.
  • Verify all parts ordered for aircraft on parts programs are correctly routed through the proper representatives.
  • Perform incoming parts inspection and paperwork, as well as quality assurance practices per the Aitheras Aviation GOM and GMM.
  • Coordinate and track all core returns for proper credit.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new parts vendors to identify potential discounts and incentives.
  • Reconcile daily trip flight sheet times and cycles sent in by crews, and update the Maintenance Tracking program accordingly.
  • Audit and update the Parts Room stock at BKL.
  • Identify parts or cores that can be sold or quarantined, depending on status, age, and disposition.
  • Track and control the condition and status of life rafts and life vests at all locations.
  • Meet with the Director of Maintenance and VP of Aircraft Maintenance to advise on any needs, discrepancies, or updates that would drive cost or operating efficiencies.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED, college or university education preferred, or relevant experience in an aviation-related field.
  • Familiarity with aviation terminology and regulations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in personal computer skills, including electronic mail, record keeping, and database activity.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and specific aviation-related software.
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, medical transport standards, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
