Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paralegal to join our team at a prestigious law firm in Sacramento, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation support and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support attorneys in managing a caseload, including document preparation, case file organization, and communication with clients.
  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and correspondence.
  • Conduct legal research and gather case-related information, ensuring all relevant details are thoroughly compiled and organized.
  • Assist in preparing cases for depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials, including coordinating witness preparation and organizing exhibits.
  • Maintain and update case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and deadlines are met.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for clients, providing updates and responding to inquiries as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • 2-5 years of experience as a Paralegal, preferably within a litigation-focused law firm.
  • Paralegal certification or degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Must reside or be willing to relocate to Sacramento, California area.
  • Strong proficiency in legal research, document drafting, Microsoft Office Suite, and case management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
