Position Summary
The Compensation Program Manager will play a pivotal role in analyzing, recommending, and implementing compensation strategies. This includes overseeing equity utilization forecasts, managing annual compensation processes, evaluating compensation programs against market standards, and preparing materials for senior management review.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary Duties
- Administer and oversee various compensation initiatives, including base salaries, bonuses, and other incentives.
- Revise and enhance the company’s compensation philosophy.
- Ensure compliance of compensation programs with established policies and philosophies.
- Design and manage salary, bonus, and merit pay structures in alignment with market trends and organizational needs.
- Analyze job data to recommend appropriate pay grades and compensation packages for new or redefined roles.
- Maintain competitive pay structures and suggest adjustments to salary grids for both salaried and hourly employees.
- Engage in ongoing compensation and benefits benchmarking surveys.
- Develop efficient compensation processes that comply with regulatory standards.
- Clearly communicate compensation policies and programs to employees.
- Provide support during salary negotiations for new hires and current employees.
- Collaborate with recruitment teams to ensure attractive job offers.
- Maintain competitive total compensation aligned with organizational goals.
- Secondary Duties
- Develop and manage executive compensation programs in partnership with management.
- Prepare annual compensation reports as required by state and federal regulations.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
- Conduct ad hoc reporting as requested by various departments.
- Tertiary Duties
- Forecast future compensation trends and recommend necessary adjustments.
$86,000 - $96,000 annually (subject to compensation study upon candidate selection)

- 6 - 9 years of direct compensation experience required.
- 7 - 11 years of experience in compensation and benefits preferred.
- 1 - 3 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Certification as a Compensation Professional preferred.
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Repetitive hand movements for typing and data entry.
- Ability to stand and walk as needed.
