About the Role

The Associate Mental Health Counselor provides mental health and wellness counseling services to the community. This role is specifically designed for licensed interns who hold a valid Professional Counselor (LPC) Associate or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT) Associate license with the state of Texas and are making progress towards fulfilling state-mandated supervised therapy hours for full licensure as an LPC or LMFT in Texas.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct counseling services to clients
  • Work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in a Behavioral Health Clinical Field
  • Experience in direct delivery of counseling services
  • General computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
