Position: Warehouse & Parts Associate
Location: Cincinnati, OH
Reports To: Warehouse Manager
FLSA Status: Hourly - Starting Pay $18
Role Summary
The Warehouse & Parts Associate is tasked with the efficient and precise management of inventory within the warehouse and yard facilities. This includes responsibilities such as counter sales, receiving, storage, and preparation for upcoming service and construction projects, along with the transfer and shipment of inventory.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Processing orders by managing transfers and sales orders, which involves:
- Gathering materials
- Packaging items
- Organizing orders in specified delivery zones
- Ensuring all materials are received and organized for future projects in line with the project tracker calendar
- Conducting physical inventory counts and managing product movement and placement
- Executing tasks related to receiving, picking, packing, transferring, and shipping while adhering to quality and productivity standards
- Addressing all functions related to customer needs, including counter sales, warranty returns, and processing cash and credit transactions
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the retail/counter sales area
- Overseeing the upkeep of the external inventory yard and surrounding spaces
- Upholding customer service standards and adhering to company policies and procedures
- Identifying and implementing improvements in warehouse operations by analyzing workflow, staffing, space requirements, and equipment layout
- Ensuring a safe and healthy work environment by following industry standards and legal regulations

Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer usage
- Capability to complete assignments within established guidelines
- General knowledge of modern warehouse and inventory control systems
- Experience in warehouse inventory management, shipping, receiving, and storage
- Valid Class D driving license with a satisfactory driving record
- Forklift operation experience; certification preferred
Physical Requirements: The physical demands of this position include:
- Regularly sitting, using hands, talking, and standing/walking
- Frequently lifting and/or moving items weighing up to 70 pounds
- Occasionally reaching with hands and arms
Work Environment: The role may involve exposure to various conditions, including:
- Temperature extremes
- Equipment such as forklifts and computers
- Moderate noise levels
- Mild to moderate stress levels
Travel Requirements: Occasional use of company vehicles for parts and supplies management may be necessary.
Work Schedule: Typical workdays are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, with a 45-minute lunch break.
