Job Responsibilities:
The Logistics Support Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting with the operational and administrative tasks related to clinical supplies management. Key responsibilities include:
  • Coordinating logistics and administrative activities to support the department's objectives.
  • Managing the daily operations concerning study drugs, comparators, and ancillary supplies.
  • Overseeing the receipt, ordering, storage, labeling, inventory management, distribution, and destruction of drug products and medical devices.
  • Tracking inventory levels and expiration dates, while issuing regular status reports.
  • Facilitating the procurement of additional supplies as needed.
  • Participating in ongoing training related to new regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Maintaining accurate records in electronic management systems for assigned studies.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with relevant vocational qualifications. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills and Competencies:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
  • A solid understanding of supply chain processes, including manufacturing, handling, shipping, and inventory management.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good analytical abilities to address diverse and confidential issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Working Conditions:
This role may require standing for extended periods and working in a warehouse environment.
