Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret production schedules, customer orders, work orders, and shipping orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
  • Convey materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory management.
  • Place materials/goods on racks, shelves, and bins or in refrigerated rooms according to predetermined sequences, such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly lines.
  • Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves; convey orders to packing stations or shipping departments.
  • Mark materials with identifying information, ensuring accurate tracking and inventory control.
  • Open bales, crates, and other containers, and record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
  • Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Arrange stock parts in specified sequences for assembly by other workers, promoting efficient production workflows.
  • Use computer systems to enter records and maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications, ensuring accurate order fulfillment.
  • Drive vehicles to transport stored items or pick up items, adhering to safety protocols and company regulations.
  • Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Prepare parcels for mailing, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Maintain inventory records, providing accurate and up-to-date information to support business decisions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to excellence.
