Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales growth and revenue within a defined territory. This role requires a strong understanding of the market, customers, and products to identify opportunities and develop strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth and revenue.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges that impact sales performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
- Manage and maintain accurate sales data, reports, and records to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory, as well as to Mexico and Canada, to meet with customers, distributors, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of two to ten years of sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, including market research, analysis, and strategy development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of urgency and a focus on results.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
