Job Summary

Lippert Components is seeking a highly skilled Senior Security Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Security Analyst, you will be responsible for protecting our organization's information assets by proactively identifying, analyzing, and responding to security threats and vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and analyze security events, logs, and alerts from various sources, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.
  • Investigate and respond to security incidents, working closely with other security teams and stakeholders to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, and audits, to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to define security requirements and develop effective solutions that protect critical assets and data.
  • Design, implement, and maintain security controls, processes, and technologies to prevent, detect, and respond to threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Evaluate and recommend security solutions, including hardware, software, and services, to enhance the organization's security capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of emerging security threats, industry trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the organization's security posture.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • A strong commitment to staying current with industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices in information security.
