At CSN Collision, we pride ourselves on our advanced facility equipped with cutting-edge technology and tools, enabling our technicians to perform their duties with utmost efficiency and precision.
We are also open to hiring an apprentice technician eager to develop their skills and advance in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Restore damaged vehicle body parts and structures in line with manufacturer and dealership standards.
- Keep abreast of the latest repair techniques and methods relevant to the vehicles serviced.
- Execute all body and fender repairs as per the repair order, making adjustments as necessary.
- Complete tasks outlined in the repair order with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct welding and collision repair tasks.
- Identify the root cause of malfunctions and carry out necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with the parts department to procure required components.
- Inspect vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is necessary.
- Inform the Body Shop Manager of any additional work required.
- Stay informed about the latest technical bulletins, service manuals, and other relevant publications.
- Participate in factory-sponsored training sessions and remain updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Operate all Body Shop equipment safely and productively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Use company materials and supplies judiciously.
- Ensure that customer vehicles are kept clean during the repair process.
- Document all completed work promptly.
- Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including hazardous waste disposal.
- Obtain management approval and complete a repair order before working on personal vehicles.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Collision Repair Technician is essential.
Valid driver's license is required.
Familiarity with automotive repair techniques and technologies is necessary.
Ability to read and understand repair manuals and technical specifications is important.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial.
Effective communication and teamwork skills are expected.
While 3 years of high-level Collision Repair Technician experience is preferred, it is not mandatory.
- I-Car Gold Class & ASE Certifications are preferred but not required.
