Special Education Instructor

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our collaborative school team near Wheaton, IL. This role provides an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' lives by delivering individualized instruction and support.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in special education and a strong commitment to student success. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and managing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to students' needs, adapting lesson plans and curriculum to accommodate different learning styles, and providing individual and small-group instruction for students requiring extra support.
Key Responsibilities- IEP Development and Management: Create and implement IEPs that cater to students' diverse needs, ensuring they receive personalized instruction and support.
- Lesson Planning and Adaptation: Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the unique needs of students with varying learning styles, promoting inclusive and engaging classroom environments.
- Instructional Support: Provide individual and small-group instruction to students who require additional support, helping them stay on track and reach their full potential.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance learning outcomes, share knowledge, and address any concerns or challenges.
- Progress Monitoring and Documentation: Regularly monitor students' progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings to ensure continuous improvement.
- Competitive Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
