We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Intervention Specialist to join our team at Youth Villages. As a Family Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing intensive in-home counseling services to at-risk youth and families.
Responsibilities- Provide in-home counseling services to youth and families, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
- Manage a small case load of four to six families, ensuring quality counseling and support.
- Meet with youth and families three times weekly to address their needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with youth, family, teachers, and other community members to ensure a comprehensive approach to supporting the youth.
- Provide after-hours support to youth and families, utilizing a rotating on-call schedule.
- Attend regular team and clinical consultation meetings to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on best practices.
- Master's degree in a social services field, such as social work, psychology, or counseling.
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families, preferably in a clinical or counseling setting.
- Strong writing skills and experience with electronic documentation.
- Valid driver's license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance.
- Ability to maintain an untraditional schedule and work independently.
- A competitive salary of $55,000 per year, based on education and clinical license.
