Job Overview

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our regional HSE Teams, you will provide front-line HSE support and play a crucial role in promoting a positive safety culture throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate safety activities as directed by the Lead HSE Coordinator and the HSE Manager.
  • Assist in investigations and analyze incident reports to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Have authority to correct hazards and stop work when job activities present unsafe or hazardous conditions.
  • Assist with supervisory safety inspections, governmental safety standards, and codes.
  • Perform daily project site inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of industry-relevant HSE experience, preferably in Telecom, Gas Utilities, Specialty Boring, or Heavy Civil/Electrical.
  • Detailed understanding of Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coach front-line operations personnel.
  • Must be able to work with a diverse interdisciplinary team to develop improved work processes.
  • Experience supporting multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.
  • Able to travel on short notice and up to 50% (subject to change).
  • Bilingual in Spanish will receive preference.
