Quantum Systems Developer

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) is seeking a talented Quantum Systems Developer to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement experiments using cryogenic systems and collaborate with experts from related fields to explore novel quantum systems.
As a Quantum Systems Developer, you will contribute to the development of innovative projects that leverage quantum technologies for national security purposes. Your primary responsibility will be to develop creative, independent research in support of existing efforts and pursue new work in areas of interest to both yourself and our sponsors.
About the Position:- A PhD in physics or a closely related field is required for this position.
- Experience in designing and implementing experiments using cryogenic systems is highly valued.
- You should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
The salary range for this position is approximately $90,000 - $330,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
