About the Role

Your independence and creativity will drive innovative projects in quantum algorithm development, error correction, and scalable characterization techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Propose and lead independent research projects in quantum information science.
  • Collaborate with APL staff to identify emerging challenges with quantum solutions.
  • Support ongoing programs in QIS by making immediate contributions to efforts modeling physically motivated quantum systems.
Requirements
  • PhD in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Experience with programming and software development.
  • Research accomplishments and publications in the field of quantum information science.
