Position Overview


The Fitness Trainer plays a crucial role in enhancing the member experience by offering expert fitness guidance and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and oversee fitness programs, ensuring adherence to established schedules.
  • Engage with members to discuss their fitness aspirations and provide instruction on the safe and effective use of equipment.
  • Develop bi-weekly exercise updates that include a diverse range of activities.
  • Meet class requirements based on club size and member attendance.
  • Assist with front desk operations, including:
    • Responding to phone inquiries in a friendly manner and assisting callers with various questions.
    • Checking members into the system.
    • Facilitating new member registrations.
    • Conducting tours for prospective members.
    • Addressing member inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management as necessary.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • A strong passion for fitness and health.
  • Positive and energetic demeanor.
  • Dependability and punctuality are essential.
  • Outstanding customer service skills; capable of interacting positively and professionally with members and colleagues.
  • Excellent listening skills with the ability to empathize and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in all interactions, using appropriate language and behavior.
  • Current CPR Certification is mandatory.
  • Nationally recognized Training Certification is required.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is necessary.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Regular communication in person or via phone during the shift.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • May encounter commercial cleaning products during the shift.
