We are seeking a skilled Transfer Center Specialist to join our team at Regional West Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient transfers and ensuring seamless care transitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Patient Transfers: Safely coordinate patient transfers by collecting and disseminating information, and documenting transfer requests in accordance with accreditation requirements.
  • Provide Dedicated Support: Offer continuous flight following communications through Air Link patient transport, ensuring timely and effective patient care.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with dispatch, medical staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and safe patient transfers.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; EMT-Basic or EMT Paramedic, LPN program, or higher level of training preferred within one year of hire.
  • Experience: Two years of healthcare experience preferred; prior experience with telephone and radio communication a plus.
  • Certifications: Preferred to have IAMTCS certification.
