Job Summary

LanceSoft is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, and take appropriate action in response to any changes or complications.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and document patient care in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as codes and transfers, and respond to patient needs in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure that patient needs are met and that care is coordinated.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
  • Experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and NRP certification preferred.
