We are seeking applications for the role of Analytics Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Analytics and Portfolio Managers to identify and fulfill their technical requirements.
- Architect, develop, and sustain scalable, high-performance applications and systems.
- Oversee and manage the complete product delivery lifecycle, ensuring high-quality and timely releases.
Essential Skills:
Python:
- Hands-on experience with distributed and data-intensive applications.
- Expertise in creating dynamic and static reports utilizing Python.
- Strong grasp of developing RESTful APIs with Python.
- Familiarity with Python coding/design practices and standards.
Cloud and Infrastructure:
- Experience with AWS (preferably AWS Certified Architect).
- Knowledge of Snowflake and relational databases like Oracle and Postgres.
- Comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments.
- Understanding of distributed systems and their inherent challenges.
DevOps and CI/CD:
- Experience with GitLab/GitHub and knowledge of CI/CD best practices.
- Proficient in building and managing deployment pipelines.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with onsite clients.
- Experience in collaborating with Asset Management firms or Investment Banks is highly valued.
- Capability to manage and coordinate with offshore teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent certification.
- Experience in the financial services sector, particularly in asset management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically and creatively.
The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits, will be determined by various factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity.
