Overview

Our client, a rapidly expanding organization recognized for its growth, is seeking a dedicated SAP Payroll Functional Consultant to enhance their operations.

Contract Duration: Long-term engagement

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert configuration and functional support for SAP ECC 6.0 Payroll and Time management.
  • Possess SAP HCM Certification to validate expertise.
  • Participate in Payroll/Time implementation and upgrade initiatives.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SAP Payroll and Time, including configuration of A/A types, wage types, tax models, and off-cycle activities.
  • Handle payroll and time rules, schemas, garnishments, remuneration statements, and check printing/direct deposit processes.
  • Utilize knowledge of BSI and configuration for effective solutions.
  • Employ SAP HR data migration tools for seamless transitions.
  • Implement SAP workflow strategies to optimize processes.
  • Understand integration points with modules such as Organizational Management, Benefits, and Personnel Administration.
  • Conduct requirement gathering sessions and workshops with end users to ensure comprehensive understanding of needs.
  • Apply a solid understanding of ABAP principles in project tasks.
  • Lead teams effectively, managing priorities and facilitating user communication.
  • Design solutions that align best business practices with user requirements.
  • Maintain adherence to schedules and project timelines, proactively communicating any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with both business users and technical support personnel to ensure effective communication.
  • Preferred experience in a procurement environment.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local purchasing laws and regulations is advantageous.
