Key Responsibilities:
As a Security Operations Supervisor, you will oversee Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel assigned to various posts. Your role will involve ensuring compliance with post orders, completing established rounds, and filing necessary reports. In emergency situations, you will notify the appropriate authorities and clients.
You will provide coaching and disciplinary actions to personnel as needed, while also training Security Officers and reviewing assignment details with your team. Additionally, you will assist in payroll submissions and ensure adequate coverage for all posts.
Your responsibilities will include preparing and submitting various reports, inspecting posts, and meeting with client representatives to guarantee that all security needs are met while delivering exceptional customer service.
As a supervisor, you will carry out essential duties such as interviewing, training employees, planning and directing work, and addressing complaints. You may also perform the duties of a Security Officer in accordance with established protocols.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the company.
Retail experience is preferred.Required Competencies:
Candidates may need to hold and maintain any applicable state, county, and municipal licenses for Security Officers. You should possess knowledge of security operations, supervisory practices, and the ability to motivate team performance. Strong organizational skills and customer service orientation are essential.
Working Conditions:
This position requires the physical and mental capacity to perform all essential functions effectively. You may encounter stressful situations and will need to maintain composure while interacting with authorities, clients, and staff.
Responsibilities may include working overtime, managing multiple tasks, and utilizing basic computer skills. Physical demands include frequent sitting, standing, and walking, as well as lifting and moving items up to 25 pounds.
Employees may be exposed to various weather conditions and must adhere to safety protocols while handling sensitive information.
