As a Project Leader for our Next Generation Survivable Radio (NGSR) program, you'll have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project that advances the state of the art in radio communications.

About the Role

The NGSR program seeks to develop and field new capabilities that improve the state of the art in several areas, including beyond-line-of-sight (BLOS) data communications, survivor/evader segment support for position, navigation, and timing (PNT) and line-of-sight (LOS) voice communications, operation within the secure cloud environment, encryption, and cyber risk mitigation. As a Project Leader, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers and technical experts to deliver high-quality products and services that meet the needs of our sponsor and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers and technical experts to deliver high-quality products and services
  • Develop and implement project plans, including technical risk assessments and quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables
  • Communicate project status and progress to sponsors and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with MITRE's project management methodologies and standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a strong background in systems engineering and radio communications, as well as experience leading technical teams and managing complex projects. You'll also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
