Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mold Processing Specialist to join our team on the 3rd shift. As a key member of our molding department, you will be responsible for setting up molds, troubleshooting molding processes, and working with trainees to ensure the highest quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up molds in presses and run production using pre-existing processes, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Train process technician trainees as needed to develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Troubleshoot molding processes and make basic adjustments to resolve issues.
  • Communicate effectively with the repair team to resolve molding machine and tooling malfunctions.
  • Provide and implement ideas to improve the efficiency of the molding department.
  • Solve quality problems and work with the quality department to identify root causes.
  • Practice good housekeeping and take measures to prevent pollution or other negative impacts on the environment.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with molds in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Knowledge of plastic materials and their processing characteristics.
  • Experience with computer-controlled machines and Sumitomo machines and robots.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands

This role requires frequent stooping and bending, as well as the ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Regularly required to sit or stand and move about the facility.
