Geriatrics Clinician Investigator

The Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatrics & Gerontology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking a Geriatrics Clinical Investigator to conduct research in the area of aging and geriatrics. The successful candidate will obtain ongoing extramural support to conduct research in a specialized field of interest, including health disparities research, health services research, or a related field.
Responsibilities- Conduct research, both independently and in collaboration with other faculty members, within a specialized field of interest.
- Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and teach graduate-level courses in relevant fields.
- Provide primary care and/or sub-specialty patient care with a focus on bone disease for our older adult population.
- Participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health.
- Terminal degree (MD/DO or equivalent) required.
- Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.
- Board Eligible/Board Certified in Geriatrics.
