Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Technician to join our team at Saint Mary's Hospital. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play an active role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Level II Trauma Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care and support to patients and families in the Emergency Department
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in unit shared decision making and contribute to the development of nurse-driven protocols
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and technologies to provide evidence-based care

Requirements

  • High School Graduate
  • EMT-B license or higher (Connecticut or NREMT-B accepted)
  • CNA or Medical Assistant Certification (accepted)
  • BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
  • Ability to pass drug screenings and background checks

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of Emergency Services experience (Emergency Department experience preferred)
