Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Device Technician to join our team at Actalent. As a Medical Device Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient reprocessing of medical devices in a wet lab environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Successfully complete and maintain all necessary training and documentation in accordance with company quality system standards.
  • Under the direction of the Soiled Device Supervisor or Manager, conduct receiving and inspecting of soiled product, communicate with various departments and staff as needed, and conduct lumen clearing on at least three specific products.
  • Average completion of 50 devices per day, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and conduct line clearance as needed.
  • Conduct top-down cleaning as directed, follow company safety and quality guidelines, and perform additional responsibilities, projects, tasks, or objectives as assigned by the Wet Room Manager, Wet Room Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer, Director of Production, or Company Executives.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1 year of experience in medical device reprocessing, manufacturing, production, or other related work environment.
  • Exhibits a positive attitude and thrives in a team-based environment.
  • Able to lift objects up to 40lbs and transfer them manually.
  • Able to work on their feet or sit for extended periods of time.
  • Basic knowledge of OSHA safety rules and precautionary measures.
