Job Overview

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PROJECT DIRECTOR

As a Project Director, you will be responsible for estimating project costs utilizing software tools like Xactimate to define the scope of work. Collaborating closely with the Operations team, you will gather essential field measurements, documentation, and materials, leveraging your expertise in restoration and construction to formulate precise estimates and initial budgets. Your commitment to service excellence and positive attitude will shine through in every interaction, helping to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors, thereby facilitating smooth collections processes.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as a proactive communicator and problem-solver, ensuring all relevant parties are informed and engaged throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrate a natural aptitude for project management, ensuring successful and profitable project delivery while upholding our Core Values and commitment to client satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the restoration or construction industry.
  • Xactimate Level 2 certification along with four current industry certifications.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and architectural plans.
  • Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and be available for 24/7 response.
  • Potential travel to disaster sites and exposure to hazardous conditions may be required.
